Spurs not top seeds

Spurs narrowly missed out on a place among the top seeds - meaning they are not in Pot One as one of the top eight sides.

Bolton Wanderers join them in the second pot, while Everton are in the third and Aberdeen in the fifth of five pots.

The draw, to be held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switerland, will decide the eight groups for the four matchday group stage, in which each team plays each the others once, with two games at home and two away.

Any of the British sides could be drawn with one of the top seeds, which include Liga side Villarreal and Bundesliga pair Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.

The top three sides in each group will progress to the knockout stages, along with the third placed sides from each Champions League group.
