Mali come up against Burkina Faso tonight as both teams attempt to challenge Senegal at the top of group B. A win for the Burkinabe, who held favourites Senegal to a goalless draw in their first game, would almost guarantee their qualification their passa

Tottenham Hotspurs' Freddie Kanoute is expected to start after a strong performance against Kenya saw him net two goals. "Burkina are well-organised and it's going to be very hard to find a way through," Kanoute said. "Physically, they're very strong and we've been impressed by what we've seen of them."
Nevertheless Mali can expect a demanding game from their physically strong and well-organised West African neighbours.
