Forest contact Mancini
The Sun reports that Roberto Mancini is a candidate to replace Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest.
There is also a suggestion from Ben Jacobs that Marco Silva at Fulham is another possibility.
The Sun claims: "Nottingham Forest have made contact with Roberto Mancini over replacing the outgoing Ange Postecoglou.
"The Aussie was given his marching orders after falling to a 3-0 loss to Chelsea on Saturday.
"He lasted just 39 days in charge.
"Forest have already set their sights on former Manchester City and Inter Milan coach Mancini as an option to replace him.
"The 60-year-old is currently available, having left his role as head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team in October last year.
"The news comes just a day after SunSport revealed that the Italian could be a contender to replace Ruben Amorim at Manchester United."
Dyche linked with Forest job
The Telegraph reports on the downfall of Postecoglou, sacked on Saturday by Nottingham Forest.
The paper adds that one leading contender for the role at the City Ground is former Everton manager Sean Dyche.
The paper writes: "Many supporters were never convinced. Perhaps the players weren’t either. There have been suggestions of mixed messages and a refusal to adapt to the tactics, despite the data pointing out that Forest’s players cannot play the way Postecoglou wanted them to. Chopping and changing the team so many times was disruptive. The players looked lost.
"The transition from Nuno’s low-possession approach to one of expansive risk-taking, attacking football, was always a concern. It explains why former Burnley and Everton manager Sean Dyche is emerging as a serious contender to take charge. His past association with the club should get some fans back onside."
Palace may look to sell Guehi
There could be a multi-club battle to land Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in the winter transfer window.
The Daily Star claims that Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern Munich could all be keen.
The paper explains: "It's suggested the Spanish titans could lure the England international into a move overseas. Last season's FA Cup winners will bid farewell to their skipper at the end of this campaign after the 25-year-old turned down a new deal at Selhurst Park.
"Liverpool nearly signed him during the summer transfer window but the deal collapsed at the last minute as Palace couldn't secure a replacement.
"Palace might try to pocket a fee for Guehi in the January transfer window, their last chance to recoup a fee after his near six years of service.
"It's been mooted that Palace's strategy ahead of the upcoming transfer window is to avoid letting him go for nothing. Consequently, it's rumoured that European big guns are circling, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, not to mention Liverpool and their rivals Manchester City."
Man Utd linked with Coventry teenage star
The Daily Mail believes that Manchester United are interested in Coventry City’s 16-year-old midfielder George Shepherd.
Shepherd is yet to sign professional terms with The Sky Blues, which has led to big sides taking a look at the player.
The paper reports: "Manchester United are monitoring Coventry City's exciting starlet George Shepherd.
"The 16-year-old was named on the first-team bench by manager Frank Lampard for Saturday's Championship game against Blackburn Rovers.
"It comes after the midfielder impressed making his first appearance for the club's U21s earlier this season.
"And Lampard has been quick to reward the teenager's progression by including him in their promotion-chasing squad.
"However, Shepherd is still on scholarship forms and has yet to be offered professional terms by The Sky Blues.
"Other clubs have become aware of his situation and have started to pay closer attention to his performances."
