Real confident over Guehi
Real Madrid are hopeful of signing Marc Guehi on a free transfer, with a pre-contract agreement mooted in January.
The 25-year-old central defender is set to leave Crystal Palace when his current deal runs out in the summer.
The Daily Star explains: "Guehi, 25, is due to become a free agent at the end of this season. Oliver Glasner, the gaffer at Palace, has already confirmed that his captain will be leaving the south London club next year.
"However, a move in the January transfer window seems unlikely, even though it represents the last opportunity for them to secure a transfer fee.
"As the new year dawns, Guehi will be able to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs, giving Liverpool's European rivals an advantage.
"According to reports, Madrid are under the impression that he favours a move to the Spanish capital, assuming that the defender wants to play alongside Jude Bellingham at both club and international level."
Lyon target Endrick loan
Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnaise are hoping to sign Real Madrid striker Endrick on loan in the January transfer window.
The 19-year-old wants more time on the pitch to increase the likelihood of representing Brazil at next year’s World Cup.
The Athletic claims: "French club Olympique Lyonnaise are exploring a January loan deal for Real Madrid’s Endrick.
"A simple loan has been mooted, with Madrid paying part of Endrick’s wages - according to sources with knowledge of the situation, speaking on the condition of anonymity.
"Endrick is attracted by Lyon’s proposal if he continues to struggle for game-time in the Spanish capital because he believes the move could improve his chances of making Brazil’s World Cup squad."
Celtic face rival for Postecoglou
The Daily Record believes that former Nottingham Forest boss Ange Postecoglou could be a target for Genoa if Patrick Vieira leaves the club.
That could frustrate Celtic’s search for a new permanent manager, though Columbus Crew’s Wilfried Nancy is seen as an option.
The Scottish paper writes: "The Columbus Crew boss has earned acclaim for his playing style and has been tipped for a return to Europe, also while being championed on the Hotline.
"The Frenchman won the MLS Cup in 2023 having previously taken CF Montreal to the Concacaf Champions League in his first managerial job, and was named Coach of the Year last season.
"Reports in Italy suggest that Postecoglou's resolve could be tested by Genoa."
Rodgers linked with Wolves job
With Vitor Pereira struggling at Wolverhampton Wanderers, former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers could be in line to replace him.
Rodgers left Celtic after growing frustrated with the club, and Pereira is under pressure after failing to impress this season.
The Mirror reports: "Martin O’Neill has come in as interim boss, while Rodgers, a former Liverpool and Leicester boss, is already being linked with a new job.
"Pereira is under huge pressure, with Wolves bottom of the Premier League and still without a win after nine matches.
"The Portuguese manager was seen angrily arguing with supporters after the dramatic 3-2 defeat by Burnley on the weekend and needs a result when they travel to face Fulham on Saturday afternoon."
