Chelsea offer Jackson to Man Utd and others

Chelsea have offered Nicolas Jackson to various Premier League sides as they look to raise funds for more signings.
Newcastle, Aston Villa, Manchester United and Arsenal have all been contacted, with Villa and Newcastle still potential destinations.
The Mirror explains: "Nicolas Jackson is being offered for £60m-plus as Chelsea prepare to carry on spending. Chelsea striker Jackson wants guarantees of regular first team football and the likes of Newcastle, Aston Villa, Manchester United and Arsenal have all been sounded out this summer.
"While the door has been closed on some possible escape routes, Chelsea are ready to do business on the Senegal striker if he pushes to leave amid increased competition from Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
"Newcastle and Villa remain live possibilities, with Jackson likely to go before the window shuts on September 1. It will give Chelsea new spending power as they look to bring in RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons and they remain keen on Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho even if they are at least £10m apart on valuation."

Leipzig move to rival Bayern for Nkunku

Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are reportedly the latest club to push to land Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku.
Bayern Munich are also keen, but the German champions would prefer to sign the Frenchman on loan.
The Athletic writes: "RB Leipzig are stepping up talks with Chelsea over a move for forward Christopher Nkunku.
"The discussions are for a permanent deal, with Nkunku open to the possibility of rejoining his former club and keen on a permanent transfer.
"Leipzig and Chelsea had already been in contact as informal talks continue over a deal for Xavi Simons to move to the Premier League club.
"Bayern Munich have also been in negotiations with Chelsea over a move for Nkunku this summer. However, The Athletic reported in the Transfer DealSheet on Tuesday the shared desire of player and club to find a permanent move rather than a loan was proving an obstacle.
"A deal for Nkunku to return to Leipzig is not considered close at this stage, and other options remain in play for the forward."

Newcastle keen on Strand Larsen

Jorgen Strand Larsen is potentially in the frame to join Newcastle as their new striker, with the club still interested in Brentford forward Yoane Wissa.
Newcastle are yet to make an offer for the Norwegian, who is reportedly open to a move north.
The Sun states: "Jorgen Strand Larsen remains a target for Newcastle United as they continue to search for a new striker.
"Brentford’s wantaway Yoane Wissa is still their No. 1 priority as the 28-year-old tries to force through a move.
"However, Eddie Howe still has a list of other names he wants as he looks to bring in two new forwards ahead of next month’s transfer deadline.
"And Wolves’ Norwegian international, 25, is one of the small group they are considering a swoop for.
"Newcastle are yet to firm up their interest with a formal bid or even an official approach to open negotiations with the Molineux outfit.
"However, discussions have taken place between intermediaries where it has been made known that Strand Larsen is open to the move."

Sterling wages prove stumbling block to London move

Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling is looking to stay in London should he leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
However, his £300,000-a-week wages will be difficult for clubs such as Crystal Palace, West Ham and Fulham to match.
The Daily Mail reports: "Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling would prefer to stay in London if possible.
"The 30-year-old, who is on £300,000 a week, is understood to have interest from Fulham, Crystal Palace and West Ham, but the amount of his salary Chelsea agree to subsidise will be key to any deal. Galatasaray and Bayer Leverkusen have also shown interest in the England international.
"Chelsea rejected an offer from Borussia Dortmund for Carney Chukwuemeka last week but he also has interest from West Ham, Nottingham Forest, Napoli and RB Leipzig, who continue to look for solutions should they sell Xavi Simons to Chelsea.
"Chelsea defender Renato Veiga, 22, has agreed personal terms with Spanish club Villarreal but the crucial matter of a fee has still to be determined, with the Stamford Bridge club wanting around £34m."
