Reds considering Semenyo move

Liverpool could make a January bid for Antoine Semenyo, according to The i Paper.
The Bournemouth striker has scored six goals in eight Premier League games so far this season, as his list of admirers continues to grow.
Manchester United and Tottenham are said to be interested, but the poor form of Mohamed Salah could see The Reds act as soon as January.
The report reads: "Liverpool are considering a January transfer for Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo as the pressure increases on out-of-form Mohamed Salah.
"High-flying Bournemouth know they face a battle to keep hold of Semenyo in the long-term and The i Paper understands that Liverpool have joined the crop of clubs interested in the right-sided forward.
"The Reds’ interest in the 25-year-old is long-term but with Salah struggling to make an impact so far this season – and due to depart later in the year for the Africa Cup of Nations – they are considering whether to push the button on a move for the Ghana winger in January to increase competition in that position."

Man Utd join Anderson race

Manchester United are ready to make it a three-way race to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson.
Manchester City and Chelsea have recently been linked with the former Newcastle man, and now The Red Devils are said to be interested.
Ruben Amorim's side reportedly had a big-money bid rejected for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba during the summer.
The Sun writes: "United are also big admirers of Anderson who only made his England debut in September but has now won four senior caps and is seen as a strong possibility to start in next year’s World Cup.
"Forest would clearly be determined to keep a prize asset and would not want to sell despite the growing interest in Anderson, who is now valued at around £75m.
"City have been eyeing reinforcements for their midfield as Rodri has struggled to come back to full fitness. Chelsea have also bought well when it comes to young English talent but they are well stocked in that department.
"They want to have a better balance in midfield and may look to get in two new players with Bruno Fernandes attracting interest while Casemiro is out of contract this summer.
"Anderson is under contract with Forest until June 2029 and will command a hefty fee. He is a key player for the team, having played the full match in all 10 of Forest's Premier League and Europa League matches this season."

Potter could appoint Newcastle assistant Jones

New Sweden boss Graham Potter could poach Newcastle’s assistant manager Graeme Jones.
Potter returned to management this week, replacing Jon Dahl Tomasson and charged with reversing Sweden’s fortunes after picking up just one point from four games in World Cup qualifying.
"Graham Potter wants to make one of Eddie Howe’s most-trusted lieutenants his No. 2 at Sweden," The Sun writes.
"And it could be good news for misfiring Alexander Isak.
"Newcastle assistant Graeme Jones has emerged as a target for Sweden’s new boss Potter, who has penned a short-term deal until March just weeks after being sacked by West Ham.
"Now he is quickly looking to assemble his backroom team ahead of the upcoming crunch World Cup qualifiers with Switzerland and Slovenia.
"Potter has been a long-term admirer of the highly experienced Jones and is considering making an approach to the Magpies.
"The expected approach from Sweden for the 55-year-old is understood to be on an initial part-time basis until the spring with an option to extend if Potter can transform their fortunes and reach the World Cup.
"One man who will be key to that happening will be Isak.
"The striker, 26, has looked way off it for both club and country since his controversial £130m British record move to Liverpool.
"However, a reunion with Jones on the international stage could be just what he needs to get going again."
