THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE, SAYS ROBERTSON
Scotland captain Andy Robertson says playing at the World Cup will be up there with anything he's experienced in his glittering career.
On the eve of their World Cup opener against Haiti in Boston, Robertson was asked by reporters how big this feels for him.
Robertson said: "Right at the top. I've been very fortunate to play in big games, win trophies, play for the biggest club in the world but for me playing for your country is that one step above.
"To do it at a World Cup is a dream come true. I'm so proud and happy this group are the ones who have done it."
Asked if it feels different compared with their European Championship campaign in Germany two years ago, Robertson added: "We're more experienced. Obviously the World Cup is a step up. We're excited but we also believe we're ready.
"Credit has to go to the backroom staff, they've made sure they've ticked every single box.
"It's up to us to now go and do the same thing."

Dembele stands up for Mbappe
Ousmane Dembele says criticism of his France teammate Kylian Mbappe is "unfair".
Despite his prolific scoring record, which has seen him get 48 goals for club and country since last August, Mbappe has had many critics due to Real Madrid failing to win La Liga or the Champions League.
"They've been very unfair to him," Dembele said in an interview with Marca.
"They go a bit overboard with the criticism of Kylian because he's an incredible player. A wonderful person off the field, because I've known him for a long time. Sometimes they go too far with the criticism just because it's Kylian Mbappé. You shouldn't be so hard on him.
"Whether he ties his shoelaces, whether he doesn't tie them, whether he pulls up his socks, whether he doesn't put them on... It's too much. Because he's still a human being and a player of exceptional quality.
"In any case, here in the French national team, he gets along very well with us. He's a leader, the captain of our team, and a very important player."
Asked if France are favorites to win the World Cup, Dembele said: "There are many favorites, you know, that doesn't mean anything anymore in football."

'You will have to admire what we did'
Bosnia-Herzegovina head coach Sergej Barbarez knows they will be the underdogs at the World Cup, but they are determined to spoil the party for co-hosts Canada in Toronto tonight.
"Well, okay. We are a small country, this is only our second World Cup. Of course, we have that epithet.
"A team that is not a favorite in many games, but if you go back and look at our last 20 games, there were only two teams that were ranked below us, and if you know our results, then you will have to admire what we did."

Adams is up for the fight
USA midfielder Tyler Adamsis looking forward to the battle ahead - as they kick off their World Cup campaign against Paraguay.
"It's definitely going to be combative, I know that anytime we've had the opportunity to play against a South American team, it gets, it gets feisty, gets scrappy.
"You need to be able to cope the with the emotional part of that game, though. You don't want to do anything stupid, reckless, let the game take advantage of you.
"So we need to again be ourselves in those scenarios, not let the game dictate too much of what we're going to do, and try and dictate the game ourselves."
