Chelsea forward Joao Felix has sealed his move to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, where he will link up with Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo and former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane. Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr have signed forward Joao Felix from Chelsea on a permanent deal.
Felix will link up with Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo and former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane at Al Nassr.
The 25-year-old leaves Chelsea after just half a season at Stamford Bridge, after making the move to The Blues from Atletico Madrid.
He was sent on loan to AC Milan in January, having made just 20 appearances, scoring seven goals in all competitions.
At the Italian giants, Felix scored three goals in 21 appearances, which was not enough for Milan to want to keep him permanently.
Felix first came to prominence on the European stage at Benfica, where he scored 15 goals in 26 appearances in his first Primeira Liga season, aged just 19.
That form caught interest from a whole host of Europe's best clubs, with Felix eventually joining Atletico Madrid for a massive transfer fee of £111m, according to Transfermarkt.
Whilst in Madrid, Felix scored 34 goals and assisted 18 times in 131 matches, winning the La Liga title in the 2020-2021 season.
After three and a half seasons at Atletico, he was deemed surplus to requirements and found himself joining Chelsea on loan.
Felix was red carded in his first match for Chelsea, after initially looking promising, and he scored four goals in 16 Premier League matches in a short spell in London in 2023.
He had done enough in west London to attact interest from Barcelona, where he went on another loan, scoring 10 goals in 44 matches.
Chelsea then opted to sign Felix on a permanent deal and the Portuguese forward scored in his return to the Blues, getting on the end of fellow Portugal forward Pedro Neto's pass in a 6-2 thumping of Wolves at Molineux.
That goal proved to be his only goal in the Premier League for Chelsea in his second spell, though he did score four goals in five UEFA Europa Conference League matches, before being going on loan to Milan.
Felix has nine goals in 45 appearances for Portugal, and was part of the side who won the UEFA Nations League in 2018-19 and 2024-25.
He is Chelsea's eighth departure of the summer, following Noni Madueke, Djordje Petrovic, Mathias Amougou, Bashir Humphreys, Kepa Arrizablaga, Marcus Bettinelli and Lucas Bergstrom out of Stamford Bridge.
