Villa look to sign Asensio permanently
L'Equipe are reporting that Marco Asensio could move to Aston Villa on a permanent deal before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Spanish forward enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Premier League side last term, scoring three goals and producing one assist in 13 Premier League appearances.
Villa have suffered through a difficult start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, with just one point to their name after two fixtures.
The French outlet believes that Paris Saint-Germain are eager to slim down their squad following their UEFA Champions League triumph.
"On loan in the second half of the Premier League season, Spaniard Marco Asensio could sign permanently," read the article.
"The downsizing operation continues at Paris Saint-Germain. It's even the Parisian management's main objective between now and Monday, when the transfer window closes.
"The capital club is close to reaching an agreement with Aston Villa for the transfer of 29-year-old striker Marco Asensio."
Bayern Munich join race for George
Florian Plettenberg believes that Chelsea academy graduate Tyrique George is attracting interest from German giants Bayern Munich.
The 19-year-old forward has already been linked with a move to several of Europe’s top sides after a busy summer transfer window for The Blues.
George made 38 appearances for the West London club last season, scoring seven goals and registering 11 assists.
Plettenberg believes that Bayern could also be interested in signing Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
"FC Bayern are exploring the market for additional options on the left side," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"One of the new candidates, thanks to his youth and potential, is Tyrique George (19) from Chelsea. This is in addition to Nicolas Jackson.
"It’s uncertain whether Bayern would be willing to buy George outright [a costly package]. A loan, however, would no longer be possible if Jackson also arrives on loan. More clubs are keen on George: Leipzig, AS Roma, and two clubs from the UK."
Malacia linked with La Liga move
Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia could join La Liga side Elche on loan for the 2025/26 campaign, according to Voetbal International.
The Dutchman joined The Red Devils from Feyenoord in 2022 and spent the second half of last season on loan with PSV.

Elche are currently 12th in the Spanish top flight after securing back-to-back draws in their opening two games.
Voetbal International believes that the 26-year-old has been subject to interest from several sides this summer.
"Manchester United is already in talks with the Spanish club about a loan move, while the left-back is eager to make the move to La Liga," read the article. "Insiders have confirmed this.
"VI previously reported that Lille had spoken to Manchester United about Malacia. The French club didn't follow through at the time, but that was partly due to the English club's stance."
Kiwior set to join Porto on loan
Jakub Kiwior is reportedly close to completing a move from Arsenal to Porto.
Kiwior made 30 appearances for The Gunners last term as they finished second in the Premier League table.
Fabrizio Romano believes that the Polish defender will join on loan with an obligation to buy for €17 million.
"Jakub Kiwior to FC Porto, here we go! Deal agreed with Arsenal on loan with obligation to buy," he posted on
"[A] €2m loan fee, €17m obligation to buy plus add-ons and sell-on clause up to potential fee over €25/27m.
"Kiwior is scheduled to fly in the next 24 hours as soon as documents are approved."
