Man Utd target Kolo Muani
Manchester United hope to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani this January, according to The Sun.
The 25-year-old could be brought in on loan to help United adapt to new manager Ruben Amorim's preferred tactics.
The paper explains: "Manchester United are lining up a loan move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.
"The Red Devils are preparing for the start of a new era as Ruben Amorim begins his reign as Erik ten Hag's successor.
"The Portuguese coach, 39, will lead his Man Utd side out for the first time on Sunday when they travel to Portman Road to take on Ipswich.
"Much has been made of Amorim's preferred 3-4-3 formation which he is expected to implement at Old Trafford.
"And the shift in style could see a move for France international Kolo Muani."
Arsenal given Williams boost
The Mirror believes that Arsenal may have received a boost in their chase for Athletic Club forward Nico Williams.
Barcelona are unlikely to be able to match the salary demands for the Spain international, giving Arsenal a way in.
The paper reports: "Arsenal could have a free run at Spain star Nico Williams with Barcelona's pursuit hitting the buffers.
"Both sides have long been linked with a move for the winger over the past season. The Gunners in particular were keen in the summer but opted for a more affordable swoop for Raheem Sterling from Chelsea.
"But the chance to sign Williams could potentially open up again in the near future for Arsenal. The 22-year-old has a €65 million (£54.2m) release clause written into his deal.
"The Gunners and Barcelona would potentially be able to activate that. But Williams' wage demands make a deal difficult for the latter.
"His demands of around €9m to €10m-per-season (£7.5m to £8.3m) are too high for Barcelona."
Lampard, Acheampong to Coventry?
The Express suggests that Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong could be loaned to Coventry in January.
The teenager is wanted by Real Madrid and Liverpool, and a loan switch could increase his valuation.
The paper states: "The transfer market will swing open again in January, and Chelsea youngster Josh Acheampong is likely to look for a way out. The 18-year-old is rated highly by Blues bosses, but he has been exiled from the first team and even the development squad until he signs a new contract.
"Liverpool and Real Madrid are among the clubs credited with interest in the 18-year-old. But they, too, may be keen to see Acheampong tested in a senior setting before pulling the trigger on a permanent deal.
"Acheampong's current deal runs until the summer of 2026, and the fact he is yet to agree an extension suggests he is weighing up his options. If he plans to leave, Chelsea could do with advertising his talent to drive up his price tag."
Chiesa could return to Italy
The Daily Star thinks that Liverpool forward Federico Chiesea could be on his way back to Serie A.
The Italian has struggled with injury in his time at Anfield, opening up speculation he may join Internazionale on loan.
The paper writes: "Federico Chiesa could be heading back to Italy on loan with Inter Milan.
"The 27-year-old winger was Arne Slot's first signing last summer but has had a rocky start at Anfield, making only one Premier League appearance and missing out on the last five matchday squads as he works on his fitness.
"Reigning Italian champions Inter are keen to boost their squad with Chiesa for a six-month loan spell. Despite limited game time for Liverpool, AC Milan and AS Roma have also shown interest in the Euro 2020 winner.
"It's unclear if either club is as viable an option as Inter, but Liverpool would be willing to cover part of Chiesa's wages if he decides to return to Serie A. While rumours of Chiesa's return to Italy have been circulating, Slot's previous comments suggest the star has a long-term future at Anfield."
