Lionel Messi receives large contract offer
According to Marca, Messi is set to sign a contract extension that keeps him at Inter Miami for "as long as he wants".
The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner’s current deal expires in December 2025, and he has been linked to a Barcelona return and with Cesc Fabregas’ Como in recent weeks.
However, Messi is set to stay at Miami, with the MLS outfit reportedly offering him a minimum extension of three years. That would see him remain at the club until he is 41.
But Messi could stay even longer, as per the report.
The report reads: "The important thing is that both parties want to stay together, and the essential thing is that Leo will play as long as he feels like it and has the strength to.
"That will be independent of the contract signed. Inter is offering a multi-year contract, whether three, four, or five years. That is, Messi can play as long as he wants and then occupy positions in other areas of the club, since Leo is a partner [with shares] of Inter."

Marquinhos to stay at PSG
According to L’Equipe, Marquinhos is set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain amid interest from "the Gulf".
There had been doubts surrounding the centre-back's future, amid PSG’s reported interest in Bournemouth's Ilya Zabarnyi.
The French outlet said: "After some time to think, while he may have entertained doubts about a possible end curtain and while he was the subject of opulent approaches, the 31-year-old Brazilian defender has decided to stay at PSG.
"Arriving in 2013 from AS Roma, under contract until 2028, the captain of the European champions will play his thirteenth season in the Parisian colours in 2025/26."
Aubameyang returns to Marseille
Sticking with French football, Marseille announced the return of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Friday.
The 36-year-old former Arsenal star joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah from Marseille last summer, but left them earlier this month. He has allegedly signed a contract with the Ligue 1 outfit until 2027.

"I spoke with Medhi [Benatia] and Pablo [Longoria], but they didn't need to convince me," he said.
"It was pretty quick. Throughout last season, I watched the matches. I spoke with the coach too; he teased me a lot, as he had not wanted me to leave. He was an important reason for my return.
"Now I'm back, and we're going to do a good job."
Roma set sights on Brighton’s Enciso
According to Il Messaggero, Roma are targeting Brighton attacker Julio Enciso.
The Paraguayan, who spent the second half of last season at Ipswich Town, is said to be a target for Roma.
With his contract expiring in June 2026, Roma are looking to negotiate a lower transfer fee than Brighton’s €20m (£17.4m) asking price.
Roma are also said to be interested in Manchester City’s Claudio Echeverri and Wolves’ Fabio Silva.
