Arsenal looking at Madueke
Arsenal are one of a number of clubs to have looked at Chelsea star Noni Madueke, claims The Telegraph.
The Gunners had been linked with Nico Williams, but reports suggest he is set to join Barcelona. Therefore, Mikel Arteta's side are looking for an alternative and could move for Madueke.
"Arsenal are understood to have made checks on a number of different players, which makes it hard to gauge the strength of their interest in Madueke and whether they will pursue him," states the outlet.
"Madueke has not been put up for sale by Chelsea and has not been offered to clubs. But rivals believe he could be sold this summer, with the 23-year-old not considered to be untouchable.
"Chelsea have not received an approach from Arsenal or held talks with their London neighbours over Madueke, but the north London club are thought to be among those to have looked at his situation.
"A number of clubs are interested in signing wide players this summer and Madueke’s ability to play on the right or the left makes him an attractive proposition.
"Newcastle United and Madueke’s former club Tottenham Hotspur are looking at wide players who can predominantly play from the right, while Manchester United are optimistic about clinching the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, despite late interest from Spurs.
"Arsenal want to sign a wide player, as well as a striker, this summer. Nico Williams had been a target, but the Spain international is expected to join Barcelona. Bayern Munich are also waiting in the wings in case that move collapses."

Gyokeres expects Arsenal transfer
Viktor Gyokeres has told his family he expects to join Arsenal this summer, claims a report in The Sun.
Manchester United and The Gunners have been strongly linked with the Sporting CF striker, but the latter are said to be leading the chase to capture his signature.
The article reads: "Viktor Gyokeres has told his family where he expects to play next season, according to reports.
"The Sporting Lisbon striker is being looked at by both Arsenal and Manchester United this summer.
"Gyokeres, 27, is certain to leave the Portuguese giants although they are ‘playing hardball’ by demanding an £80m fee.
"talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook said: ‘I had a message 24 hours or so ago suggesting that Viktor Gyokeres has told friends and family he expects to join Arsenal’.
"The Swede is said to be considering going on strike to force his Sporting exit.
"Gyokeres is furious as he believes the club have broken a promise that he would be sold for £50million with a further £8million in add-ons."

Liverpool consider Guehi move
The Times reports that Liverpool could move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi this summer.
The Reds could sell centre back Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen, paving the way for the England international to seal a transfer to Anfield.
The article states: "Bayer Leverkusen are pushing to sign the centre back Jarell Quansah as Liverpool show interest in Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.
"The German club’s interest in Quansah, 22, is separate to the potential £116million British-record deal they have struck to sell Florian Wirtz to Liverpool. Wirtz flew to England on Thursday and will aim to complete a medical on Friday to finalise his transfer.
"Dialogue over Quansah is continuing between the two clubs and while Liverpool are not pushing the England Under-21 defender to the exit door, they are naturally considering alternatives, of which Guehi would be one.
"Leverkusen are guaranteed £100million from the sale of attacking midfielder Wirtz, with a further £16million linked to add-ons, and view Quansah as someone who could improve new head coach Erik ten Hag’s squad."
It continues: "Guehi is liked by Liverpool, with circumstances around Quansah, and others, likely to determine whether any interest develops now or they continue to monitor his situation given that he would be available on a free transfer in 12 months."
