SPL plan fresh Salah bid

The Daily Mail believes that the Saudi Pro League will make a renewed attempt to sign Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
They attempted to bring him in earlier in the year but Salah remained at Anfield, despite reports of his interest.
The paper states: “The Saudi Pro League will make renewed attempts to sign Mohamed Salah next summer with the Liverpool forward the main target in the cash-rich competition’s next phase of expansion.
“Al Ittihad caused consternation at Anfield last summer by making a staggering £200 million bid for Salah late in the transfer window which Liverpool were ultimately able to resist, and a more strategic attempt to woo the Egyptian superstar is planned over the coming months.
“The 31-year-old is viewed as an even more important transfer target for the SPL than Cristiano Ronaldo, who provided instant credibility when he joined Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United 12 months ago, as he remains at his peak and is an icon throughout the Arab world.
“Salah will have 12 months left on his current £300,00-a-week contract next summer, leaving Liverpool with a stark choice between cashing in or offering him a mega deal to end his career at the club.”

Chelsea look at Ramsdale move

Following an injury to Robert Sanchez, The Sun reports that Chelsea are keen on signing Arsenal’s out-of-favour goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale
With David Raya currently first choice for Mikel Arteta, Ramsdale has been linked with a move away.
“Chelsea are preparing to step up their pursuit of Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale after Robert Sanchez suffered an injury during the Blues' 2-0 defeat to Everton,” the paper explains.
“Spaniard Sanchez, 26, has started all 16 Premier League games for Mauricio Pochettino's side so far this season following the departure of Edouard Mendy to Al Ahli and Kepa Arrizabalaga's loan to Real Madrid.
“Arsenal shot-stopper Ramsdale, 25, has been benched since the early stages of the new campaign following the arrival of David Raya from Brentford.
“Mikel Arteta is thought to be reluctant to let him leave in the mid-season window as it would leave him with 21-year-old Karl Hein as his back-up keeper.”

Reguilon wanted by Dortmund

Sergio Reguilon’s loan spell at Manchester United could come to an end next month.
The Mirror believes that Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are looking to sign him, and Tottenham could want him back themselves.
“Borussia Dortmund have made an enquiry for Man Utd loanee Sergio Reguilon,” the paper writes.
“The Spanish left-back is currently on loan from Tottenham but a break clause would enable him to leave Old Trafford next month if an agreement was struck. Reguilon joined United on deadline day as an emergency signing after Luke Shaw was sidelined for two months through injury.
“But now Shaw has returned to action and Reguilon has only completed 90 minutes once in the Premier League this season. United would like to keep the 27-year-old until the end of the campaign.
“Fellow left-back Tyrell Malacia is also due to return to full fitness in early 2024. Reguilon's only has 18 months left to run on his current deal at Tottenham.
“Spurs may want to recall Reguilon to north London, given they are currently navigating a hefty injury list of their own, though Destiny Udogie has claimed the first-choice left-back slot and remains available. United are covering Reguilon's full salary during his loan from Tottenham.”

Suarez targeted by Inter Miami

Inter Miami continue to press for Luis Suarez, whose time at Gremio has come to an end.
He could now link up with Lionel Messi at David Beckham’s MLS franchise.
Spanish paper Marca reports: “Luis Suarez remains David Beckham's next goal for Inter Miami. The former English footballer and owner of the Miami soccer club wants the 'Pistolero' in pink next season.
“A dream that would reunite two old friends, the Uruguayan striker and Leo Messi. In recent days and after Suarez's farewell to Gremio it has been rumored that it was the Argentine star himself who was trying to convince the Uruguayan striker to come to the USA.
“But the reunion would also be with Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and there are even rumors of the possible arrival of two more Blaugranas in Sergi Roberto and Rakitic. Undoubtedly a situation that could motivate Suarez to choose David Beckham's Inter Miami as his next destination.”
