Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of England keeper Mary Earps on a free transfer, following her exit from Manchester United. The 31-year-old announced she would be leaving United last week, after deciding the club's "period of transition" did not "align with the timing of where I’m at in my career". Earps, in a statement, called her move "a fantastic opportunity."

Mary Earps has signed for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, following her departure from Manchester United.
The 31-year-old had announced she would be leaving United last week, explaining that she had rejected a new deal after much deliberation.
Division 1 Feminine side PSG have now confirmed the signing of Earps on a two-year deal.
It ends a five-year spell at United for Earps, who arrived at the club from Wolfsburg in 2019, and won her only trophy at the club last season following a 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Women’s FA Cup final.
Despite the historic victory at Wembley, it was a largely disappointing campaign for Marc Skinner’s side, who finished fifth in the WSL and 15 points adrift of Arsenal in the race for a UEFA Women’s Champions League place.
While PSG have been pipped to the Division 1 Feminine by Lyon for the last three seasons, they regularly compete in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
"Joining Paris Saint-Germain is a fantastic opportunity," Earps said. "I'm very honoured to become a Parisian and I can't wait to play alongside my new team-mates.
"Together, we're going to give our all to help the club shine and make our fans proud. I'm determined to contribute to our future success so that Paris Saint-Germain continues to rank among Europe's top clubs."
Earps rose to prominence after playing a key role in England's Euro 2022 victory on home soil.
She also played all seven of England’s matches as Sarina Wiegman’s side reached the 2023 Women’s World Cup final, where they were beaten 1-0 by Spain.
Earps was named the best women's goalkeeper on the planet for a second consecutive year at The Best FIFA Football Awards in January, becoming the first player to achieve that feat.
The shot-stopper also came fifth in the Ballon d’Or Feminin rankings last October - the highest-ever position for a goalkeeper.
She said she went "backwards and forwards" over the decision to leave United.
"The club is about to undergo a period of transition, and unfortunately I don’t feel it aligns with the timing of where I’m at in my career," Earps posted on Instagram before her move to PSG was confirmed.
"I think now is the right time to make a change and embark on a new challenge."
Manchester United captain Katie Zelem also recently left the club following the expiry of her contract.
