Juventus are looking at signing Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho on loan ahead of a potential permanent switch, while Liverpool face competition from Tottenham for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie. Elsewhere, Barcelona have offered a hint that they may bring back Lionel Messi from Inter Miami, and Jose Mouriho will consider a move to Saudi Arabia.

Juventus want Sancho from United

The Sun reports that Jadon Sancho is wanted by Juventus, and they could strike a deal that sees a loan become permanent.
“Juventus plan to hand Jadon Sancho an escape route from Old Trafford – and could turn it into a permanent £60million deal next summer,” the paper writes.
“The Italians are keen to sign the dumped Manchester United winger on loan in January, before a potential full-time move at the end of the season.
“They hope United will agree to paying half of Sancho’s wages if he goes, knowing the Reds are keen to put him in the shop window.
“Sancho has been out in the cold since falling out with Erik ten Hag when he was left out of the squad for the trip to Arsenal at the start of September.”

Liverpool return for Hincapie

Liverpool could be back in for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, though Tottenham are also keen.
The Mirror reports: “Liverpool are back in the hunt for Bayer Leverkusen central defender Piero Hincapie after they were forced to cool their interest this summer.
“Jurgen Klopp's transfer plans drastically changed following Fabinho and Jordan Henderson's shock departures for Saudi Arabia as he was forced to prioritise midfield reinforcements. Now 22-year-old Hicapie, who was the subject of a verbal offer from Tottenham in January, is back on their radar and the Reds are already laying the groundwork for a potential January deal.
“The Ecuador international is represented by Moises Caicedo's agent Manuel Sierra but relations still appear to be intact despite the Chelsea midfielder snubbing a £110million British-record switch to Anfield.”

Barcelona hint at Messi return

After two years away from the club, Barcelona have suggested that Lionel Messi could potentially return from Inter Miami.
“Barcelona have sent fans into a frenzy with a post that has teased the return of Lionel Messi amid reports linking him with a sensational reunion with the Camp Nou club,” the Mail explains.
“Messi and the Catalan giants went through an unceremonious divorce in 2021 as the club grappled with a crippling financial crisis.
“Since then, the 36-year-old has endured a disappointing two-year spell in Ligue 1 with PSG but was able to lead Argentina to a historic World Cup before departing the Parc des Princes last summer.

Mourinho considers Saudi switch

After a difficult time with Roma so far this season, manager Jose Mourinho has been linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia.
The Daily Express states: “Jose Mourinho admits he is already plotting a move to Saudi Arabia having endured a tough start to the Serie A season with Roma. The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager reportedly turned down a switch to the Pro League in the summer but says he is ‘convinced’ he will work there in the future.
“Mourinho’s Roma have had a terrible start to the campaign, sitting 13th in the Italian top-flight after just two wins from seven games. It is the Giallorossi’s worst start to a season since the introduction of three points for a win in the mid-1990s.
“The future of Mourinho is widely believed to be in doubt over Roma’s form, despite him taking the club to successive European finals in his first two years. The 60-year-old is seemingly already preparing for his next job and is excited at the prospect of moving to Saudi Arabia.
“He says he will go to the country soon for some ‘free time’ but plans to take up a coaching role in the future.”
