Mark Hughes brings in Sofiane Boufal and Manolo Gabbiadini

New Southampton manager Mark Hughes makes two changes from the 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United as both Sofiane Boufal and Manolo Gabbiadini come into the team for the FA Cup clash against Wigan Athletic.

Hughes was named as the successor to Mauricio Pellegrini in the week and he keeps the team largely the same for the trip to Wigan.

Boufal and Gabbiadini replace Nathan Redmond and James Ward-Prowse.

It means Saints play with a midfield two of Mario Lemina and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg with Dusan Tadic and Boufal on either wing.

Gabbiadini joins January signing Guido Carrillo up front.

Wigan make one change from their midweek win as birthday boy Gary Roberts replaces Nick Powell with Will Grigg up front.
