Tammy Abraham praised AC Milan’s "confidence, courage and hunger" after they came from two goals down to beat city rivals Inter 3-2 and win the Italian Super Cup.
Inter had claimed a 2-0 half-time lead through Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi, only for Milan to halve the deficit via a Theo Hernandez free-kick.
Christian Pulisic then levelled proceedings in the 80th minute before Abraham tapped home the winner on 93 minutes to see Milan claim their first silverware of any kind since the Serie A trophy in 2022.
Milan boss Sergio Conceicao, who was only hired to replace Paulo Fonseca last Monday, celebrated his second victory in charge of The Rossoneri, having claimed a 2-1 comeback win over Juventus in the Italian Super Cup semi-finals last Friday.

Meanwhile, Inter, who lost for only the third time this season across all competitions, take on Venezia on Sunday.
"I am very happy for my team, for the fans and this is for all of you," Abraham told Sport Mediaset.
"We played with confidence, with courage, hunger, so when we do that, we are a strong side. We are very happy."
Elsewhere, Hernandez insisted Milan players should shoulder the blame for Fonseca’s sacking.
"It was a great performance," the France international told Sport Mediaset. "We knew Inter were a great team, it was a difficult moment for me, but I think that now I am getting back in shape. I am not yet at 100%, but I am trying to help the team.
"It is wonderful. We need to shoulder some of the blame that Fonseca went, it was not just his fault. We are grateful to have had him here and wish him the best. We haven’t had much time to work with Conceicao, but I think it did us good.
"I dedicate the goal to my wife, my son and now the little girl is coming soon too to grow the family."
