Son Heung-min exclusive: Tottenham Hotspur captain says 'one is not good enough' for Harry Kane after striker wins first major title of career

Son Heung-min has said Harry Kane "deserves more" trophies after the striker won his first major career title by lifting the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. The English forward ended his 15-year wait for silverware as the German side won their 12th league title in 13 years, but the current Spurs captain believes one trophy is not enough for his former team-mate Kane due to the quality he possesses.

Son Heung-min has said "one is not good enough" for Harry Kane after the Englishman claimed the first major title of his career
Kane saw his 15-year wait for a senior trophy come to an end earlier this month as Bayern Munich clinched their 12th Bundesliga title in 13 years.
The England captain was able to get his hands on the trophy on Saturday following his side’s victory at home over Borussia Monchengladbach, in which he scored his 25th league goal of the campaign.
Son has spoken of his delight for his former Tottenham Hotspur team-mate but believes he deserves further success "more than anyone" because of his "quality" and what he has "sacrificed".
The current Spurs captain exclusively told TNT Sports: "We're still good friends, best mates, so I called him, I texted him, and he FaceTimed me.
"He was very, very happy, and then I’m just happy to see him smiling, happy to see him lift the trophy that he deserves more than anyone else. What a fantastic moment for him."

"I hope there are many more to come, I think one is not good enough for Harry - the ability, the quality he has, I think he deserves more than anyone else," Son added.
"It's not only because I'm a friend of him, the way he sacrificed, the way he works. What a player and well-deserving.
"I want to congratulate him again here, personally and then as a friend. I was very, very happy."
Kane failed to win a trophy during his time at Spurs, despite netting 280 times for the north London side, but his former team could end their 17-year wait for a major trophy this month as they take on Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final on May 21, live on TNT Sports and discovery+

Despite his departure two summers ago, Son believes Kane will be "supporting" Spurs as they look to end their own trophy drought.
The winger said: "I'm sure that Harry is still watching our games and supporting us because I think there are a lot of friends who are still playing here.
"Harry [will] probably just wish us all the best, he will be a Spurs supporter on the day, I have no doubt."
Son and Kane formed a prolific partnership during their time together at Spurs, with their 47 goal combinations the most of any two players in Premier League history.
