There was an unlikely hero in the Lecce attack during their Serie A game against Bologna on Sunday, as goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone won a stoppage-time penalty when he was hauled down in the box while stretching to try and score a winner. A spot-kick was awarded following VAR intervention and Roberto Piccoli stepped up to slam the ball into the net for a 1-1 draw with the final act.
