Amauri claims Viola talks

Juventus’ out-of-favour striker Amauri has revealed that a switch to his current club’s Serie A rivals Fiorentina is close to completion.

The Brazilian turned down a transfer out of the Turin club last summer and has since struggled to find a regular first-team spot in manager Antonio Conte’s team.

Having been linked with Premier League sides Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham the player now claims his representatives are in talks with Fiorentina.

"I hope everything could soon be close," Amauri told Lady Radio. "You know well what is happening.
