Top award for Danilevicius

Livorno striker Tomas Danilevicius has been named as Lithuania's Footballer of the Year. The 28-year-old polled 562 votes, well ahead of Moscow Dynamo goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas, who finished second with 261 votes.

Danilevicius, 28, scored five goals for the Lithuanian national team during 2006 after being made captain of the side.
The striker has also scored three goals in seven appearances to help Livorno climb to fourth in Serie A, after helping them finish a respectable ninth last season.
