The Roma captain was stretchered off after clashing with Empoli defender Richard Vanigli on February 19, but giallorossi coach Luciano Spalletti confirmed the Italy international will play.
"Totti should play from the start, as it's better for him to get into the game right away," said Spalletti.
"We still have to evaluate a couple of things, but he is in good shape all things considered and the plan set out by the doctors had him making his return on this date."
The news will be a boost to Italy boss Marcello Lippi, who will be looking for Totti to build on his match fitness ahead of the World Cup.
But Spalletti has had little option but to throw his influential playmaker into the fray given his injury-ravaged squad.
Philippe Mexes, Olivier Dacourt, Amantino Mancini and Simone Perrotta are all banned, Alberto Aquilani, Vincenzo Montella and Shabani Nonda are still short of fitness, while Cristian Chivu is also nursing a knock as Roma bid to overhaul Fiorentina - who face Reggina - in the race to finish fourth.
"I think our match is probably more difficult than that of Fiorentina," revealed Spalletti. "Reggina are already safe and therefore are relaxed. Treviso, on the other hand, have plenty of youngsters who wish to prove their worth and earn a place in next season's Serie B side."
