Simon Brown has labelled Hibernian manager John Collins as "arrogant" and someone who lacks people skills.
The former Easter Road goalkeeper, who was released last month, told the Daily Record: "He is very arrogant. As a player you need that arrogance....but as a manager you can't be like that.
"Whenever anyone says 'go and see the manager' we would ask who we should see - John Collins or (assistant manager) Tommy (Craig). John's people skills are rubbish."
It emerged in April that 16 players held a meeting with chairman Rod Petrie hoping to get Collins replaced and Jones backed the move although captain Rob Jones later made a statement apologising.
"Sixteen players went to that meeting and everyone spoke about the training methods," Brown said.
"The only way they felt they could get through to him [Collins] was by seeing the chairman."
