Letizi quits Rangers

The former Paris St Germain shot stopper has been released from his contract with the Scottish giants, paving the way for a move to Nice before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday.

Letizi began his career at the Cote d'Azur club, and now the 33-year-old seems likely to hang up his boots there.

After having signed for Rangers in June 2006, Letizi made just eight appearances in Gers' colours for manager Paul Le Guen.
