Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink nominated for League One leaders

Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been nominated for the League One Manager of the Month award.

Albion are currently top of League One for the first time in their history and collected 10 points from their five games in September, keeping three clean sheets along the way.

Southend manager Phil Brown, David Flitcroft at Bury and Colchester chief Tony Humes are also in the running for the award, which will be announced on Friday morning.
