Olympics Rio 2016: Arsenal’s Serge Gnabry continues fine form for Germany with sixth goal
Serge Gnabry scored his sixth goal of the Olympics for Germany as the Arsenal youngster continued to impress in Brazil.
The 21-year-old handed Germany a 1-0 lead in their quarter-final 4-0 win over Portugal, having also scored twice in their 10-0 win over Fiji on Wednesday.
Gnabry headed back to north London after a disastrous loan spell with West Brom last season, but his showing in Rio has turned the heads of many Arsenal fans.
His six goals in four games so far could force Arsene Wenger into rethinking where the midfielder features in his plans.
The goalscoring feat could also make Gnabry an attractive loan prospect for other Premier League clubs, while a move back to Germany has also been suggested.
