Real Madrid will be without Eder Militao for their Champions League home game against Inter Milan after he tested positive for Covid-19. Militao played for Real on Saturday as they beat Huesca in La Liga.
Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has tested positive for Covid-19.
Militao started for Real on Saturday as they won 4-1 at Huesca in La Liga, but will now miss the midweek trip to Inter Milan in the Champions League.
"Our player Eder Militao has given a positive result in the Covid-19 tests carried out on Sunday morning," Real said in a statement.
The club added that all other first-team players and coaching staff, as well as the club employees who work directly with them, had tested negative for coronavirus both on Sunday and Monday.
Real, who are bottom of Champions League Group B, face third-placed Inter on Tuesday.
