Madrid's statement concluded:
Ronaldo's departure leaves a big hole in Real Madrid's squad and comes less than two months after manager Zinedine Zidane also parted company with the club.
The 33-year-old's arrival in Italy further strengthens Juventus, who have won the last seven Serie A titles.

"With CR7 as a Juventus player the Bianconeri have become one of the favourites to win Champions League, a trophy that has not reached Torino since 1996. Ronaldo is 33 but he is still one of the two best football players in the world and playing in a difficult championship as the Italian one could be very stimulating for him. He can play at his incredible level for two or three more years. If Ronaldo comes to Torino then a striker will leave Juventus for sure. In my opinion, this player won’t be Paulo Dybala, unless a very big offer comes in (100 million euros or more). He is young and Juventus believe in him. The situation of Higuain is different: he is 31 but there are a lot of teams interested in him, especially in England."
