TNT Sports experts have had their say on who could replace Ange Postecoglou as the manager of Nottingham Forest. Some of the candidates for the role include former Everton and Burnley boss Sean Dyche, Fulham's Marco Silva and Premier League legend Rafa Benitez. Postecoglou was swiftly sacked following Forest's 3-0 defeat against Chelsea at the City Ground in Saturday's early kick-off.

Ange Postecoglou’s spell as Nottingham Forest manager has come to an end after just 39 days in the role, and thoughts have already turned to who will be next into the hotseat at The City Ground.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic boss failed to win any of his eight matches in charge, and a 3-0 defeat against Chelsea at the City Ground appeared to be the final straw for owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Forest are now on the hunt for their third manager of the 2025/2026 campaign, having also dismissed Nuno Espirito Santo just three games into the season.
TNT Sports expert Glenn Hoddle believes that whoever takes the position will give the Forest fanbase a lift.
"The problem that Ange had was that Nuno did so well last year," Hoddle said on TNT Sports.
"They had European football, and then suddenly, it wasn’t football reasons why Nuno was sacked or left the club, without a doubt.
"Ange was going in on the back foot a little bit, whereas Sean Dyche or whoever comes in is going to have a new energy.

"It will be like the fans have got their Forest back, it will be on a positive note instantly, and Ange never had that really."
Hoddle and his fellow TNT Sports expert Peter Crouch delved into who could replace Postecoglou.
Sean Dyche
The bookmakers suggest that Sean Dyche is the front-runner for the role.
Dyche started his career in the club’s youth team before going on to make his professional debut with Chesterfield.
Crouch believes that Dyche’s history with the club could work in his favour.
"Yeah, I think you can see the odds on it now, he is the strong favourite, Sean Dyche," said Crouch.
"It all adds up, he has an affinity with the club, he lives in the area. I know Sean Dyche personally and this would be a huge honour for him to accept the challenge here.
"I think it is certainly something that he always had one eye on.
"I think the crowd will take to him because he is someone who they believe is one of their own.
"I think there are a lot of bonus points, without a doubt.
"He has proven himself in the Premier League, and he is out of work, everything just seems to add up."
Marco Silva
Fulham manager Marco Silva is also reportedly in the running.
However, after a solid start to the season for The Cottagers, Hoddle believes it would take a lot to tempt Silva away from west London.
"I don’t think that is something that would happen [Silva joining from Fulham]," said Hoddle.

"I think he is building something there at Fulham as well.
"I think the bookies have got it right."
Rafa Benitez
Rafa Benitez was also mentioned during the post-match discussion on TNT Sports and discovery+.
However, Hoddle suggested that the Spaniard is included in every managerial discussion, and joked that he should be on the shortlist too.
"He [Benitez] seems to pop up on the list for a lot of clubs," said Hoddle.
"Mine is on the other page, round the back."
