Manchester City star Erling Haaland admitted he "can’t sleep" amid disarray at one of his former clubs.
Haaland is widely considered to be among the world’s most lethal finishers, having netted 262 goals across 332 games at the age of just 25.
While he is now arguably the Premier League’s most feared marksman at Manchester City, his rise included spells at Molde, RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund.
Moreover, Haaland came through the ranks at Norway’s Bryne FK, joining their academy in 2005 and going on to play 16 first-team games there before moving to Molde.
And in a social media post, Haaland has hit out at Bryne’s ownership, amid the club’s decision to release three players from their contracts mid-way through the season.
In a late-night Snapchat post, Haaland said: "Speak out, Bryne FK. What the hell is going on?"
When a follower responded by telling Haaland he should be asleep rather than on social media, the forward replied in a subsequent story: "Yes, I should, but there is chaos at my home club, and it makes me angry, so now I can't sleep."

Bryne release three players from contracts
In a statement, Bryne, who sit 14th in the 16-team Norwegian Eliteserien, said: "We have agreed to terminate the contracts with Axel Kryger, Jens Husebo and Robert Undheim.
"We thank them for their commitment to the red and white team and wish them continued success."
No reason for the decision was given. The news comes amid a dismal run of form that has seen the club win just five of their 20 games, leaving them in the relegation play-off place.

When Norwegian outlet NRK contacted striker Undheim, he opted not to comment on the specifics of the release, but said: "Never doubt that I love Bryne FK."
Meanwhile, on the decision, Kryger said: "We chose to go our separate ways. That's how it had to be, and both the club and I agreed on that.
"I wish Bryne all the best and have had a great time there. It ended badly, but that's how it is sometimes."
