Liverpool's chief executive officer Billy Hogan has said that the Reds will have a period of "reset" in the aftermath of Jurgen Klopp's departure.
The 57-year-old German left Anfield after nine years, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League once each and the League Cup twice during his time at the club.
Klopp reinstalled Liverpool as one of the powerhouses of English and European football, and following in his footsteps will be a tricky task for Arne Slot, the former Feyenoord manager, who has replaced him in the dugout.
Fenway Sports Group, which owns Liverpool, has sought to remodel their boardroom structure, with Michael Edwards and Julian Ward returning to the club as football executives.
Richard Huges is the club's new director of football after arriving from Bournemouth, while Pedro Marques is the new technical director.
The Reds have had ample time to map out their post-Klopp project, after the German revealed his decision to step down in January.

Speaking to the BBC, CEO Hogan said that Klopp leaving "provided an opportunity for a reboot or reset and maybe to look at how things operate going forward".
He continued: "Jurgen departing was a seismic decision but clearly the right decision for him and his family, so by extension the right decision for the club.
"He was very clear about leaving the club in a better place than where he found it and I think he has done that. The timing of his announcement gave us an opportunity to go through a proper process."

Liverpool are currently on their pre-season tour of the United States, where they will next take on Arsenal in Philadelphia before facing Manchester United in South Carolina.
The Anfield outfit still have not made a significant signing under Slot, with the Dutchman insisting that he wants to afford every member of the current first-team squad a chance to impress.
When asked about financial constraints in the league, Hogan stressed that the club are committed to following the regulations.
"I think it is important that the rules have teeth and if clubs fall foul of that then the Premier League has a process to go through. We are supportive of those rules and being sustainable," he said.
He added: "We are trying to find the best way to operate for all of us going forward," he continued.
"We have the most competitive and global league, and it's important we keep it that way."
