FULL TIME: WOLVES 1-2 MANCHESTER CITY
Gary O'Neil is booked in the aftermath of the decision. Play eventually resumes but there is little time left to play and Kavanagh blows the full-time whistle less than a minute later. Massive for City but heartbreak for Wolves.

GOAL! WOLVES 1-2 MANCHESTER CITY (STONES)
It's heartbreak for Wolves as Phil Foden's corner from the right is headed powerfully home by John Stones who for the second time this season he saves City late on.
There is a VAR check for a possible offside but even after the recommendation for Chris Kavanagh to check the monitor, the goal stands!

CITY PRESSING
Wolves look to counter and are adamant Guedes was fouled as he approached City's area but it was a clean tackle and back City come.
Grealish's corner is headed behind for another. His next has the same result.

WOLVES HOLDING ON
City continue to probe but continue to struggle to create anything clear cut. Dias plays a one-two with Grealish and it requires a great block from Lemina to block the centre-back's ball across.
The corner is worked short by City but Grealish's inswinging ball is claimed by Sa who receives the player of the match award.

FIVE MINUTES ADDED ON
Bernardo Silva has it to the left of the six-yard box but lashes his effort from the tight angle into the side-netting. A strange choice from the Portugese.
Gomes is replaced by Bellegarde. He has put in a monumental shift this afternoon. There will be five minutes of added time to conclude this one.

ALL COMING THROUGH GREALISH
Grealish slides in Foden into the box but his low shot is blocked and deflects into the arms of Sa, who just about keeps it the right side of the goal-line.
Grealish again opts for the route outside of Semedo and chips it to the back post where Ait-Nouri is again to turn it behind for a corner. It falls to Grealish on the edge of the box but his low shot is easily saved by Sa.

WOLVES PLAYERS FEELING THE FATIGUE
Gomes makes a forward underlapping run and latches onto Semedo's ball but his cross from the right is tired and into the side-netting.
It's Ait-Nouri's turn to go down with cramp and Wolves players are really starting to feel the effects of chasing City for 90 minutes. Former Wolves man Nunes is met with boos and other less-than complimentary names as he replaces Kovacic.

CITY TURNING THE SCREW
A careless ball from Semedo gives it straight back to City - they could really do without those in these final stages.
A brief scare for Wolves as Foden's chipped cut-back is spilled by Sa but Dawson hacks it clear. Moments later and Grealish's cut-back is lashed goalwards by Silva but it looks like it was blocked by his team-mate, Lewis.

STRAND LARSEN WITHDRAWN
Wolves' goalscorer Strand Larsen, who is being treated for cramp, is withdrawn in place of Guedes.
Wolves are able to take City back into their own half for a moment before retreating back into their block. Can they hold on for a final ten minutes plus stoppage time?

CITY PROBE BUT WOLVES SOLID
Silva has the small wound to his forehead treated and he is back on the field. City continue to probe but Wolves are keeping a really compact and solid shape for now.
Grealish goes on the outside this time and floats another one up to the back post but Ait-Nouri heads clear. A foul from Gundogan brings the attack to a complete hault.

GREALISH ON FOR VISITORS
Wolves enjoy a rare venture forward into City's half but it's eventually back with Sa before the flag goes up against Forbes.
Savinho is replaced by Grealish for City. He is immediately involved as he stands a ball up to the back post that finds Silva's head before Sa claims. Foden attempted to control the ball as Silva arrived and he subsequently left one his City team-mate who is clutching his head.

FRUSTRATION FOR SAVINHO
The ball comes across the box from Silva and arrives with Savinho in space but his curling effort on his weaker right foot goes high and wide - a really poor attempt.
The winger is getting a lot of the ball down City's left but can't do much with it as Semedo stands his ground.

CHANGES FOR BOTH SIDES
Phil Foden who has been waiting to come on for an age is eventually on in place of Doku. Meanwhile Forbes is on for Wolves to replace Cunha.
The Wolves substitute is immediately found by Doyle and breaks into the left of the box before his shot come cross almost finds Strand Larsen at the back post but just runs on for a goal-kick.

NO WAY THROUGH FOR CITY
Wolves can't get out though and City continue to mount the pressure. Gundogan takes aim again just inside the box but it's tame and easy for Sa to collect.
Ait-Nouri puts in a robust challenge on Doku looking to go on the outside before winning the throw - great defending.

CITY WASTE FREE-KICK
Kovacic is found on the edge of the box and as he chops back onto his left foot he is judged to have been brought down by Lemina and this is a really dangerous spot now for a City free-kick. That was a very soft one and perhaps the wrong call from the referee.
With City looking likely to adjust the angle, Gomes is booked as he wrestles with Kovacic to steal a yard. It's Gundogan who eventually lets fly but it's deflected and then turned behind for another corner.

WOLVES' SOLID SHAPE CONTINUES
Toti does really well to beat Haaland in the aerial duel before Sa comes in to clutch the cross and the home fans show their appreciation for that piece of defending.
Semedo blocks the Savinho cross for City's 11th corner of the tie. Wolves fail to clear it as the ball drops dangerously in the six-yard-box but Sa races off his line to gather.

RARE WOLVES ATTEMPT
Pep Guardiola is visibly frustrated following that Doku effort and it has the feel of their match against Arsenal this season when they resorted to pop shots for much of the second half with Arsenal down to ten.
Wolves have a rare venture forward through Ait-Nouri and Cunha. The latter lets fly as he approaches the box, looking to curl it into the bottom right corner but it flashes past the post.
55'
CITY FORCED INTO LONG-RANGE EFFORTS
Gomes gets back well to shrug Savinho off it inside the area and spark a counter-attack opportunity but it breaks down at halfway for the hosts.
Ruben Dias has a lot of time on the edge of the box and takes aim. He looks to shape one into the bottom right corner but Sa is a match for it again and turns it behind for a corner. It's worked to Doku on the edge of the area but his effort is blazed high and wide.
52'
HALF-CHANCE FOR HAALAND
Savinho beats Semedo on the outside before whipping a low ball in towards Haaland who has his first half-opening of the game but with the ball slightly behind him, he misses his kick.
Gvardiol picks up another attacking position inside the Wolves box but his deflected cross is headed behind by Doyle for yet another corner that ends up with Kovacic on the edge of the box but his cross has far too much on it.
48'
SAVINHO AND DOKU SWITCH SIDES
Savinho and Doku looked to have switched flanks at the start of this second half and Savinho's cross from the left is headed behind for a corner that is cleared before an offside flag brings the attack to an end.
City had 215 successful passes in the final third compared to the hosts' tally of five. That sums up nicely the pattern of the game so far.
