Jean-Philippe Mateta struck in the 82nd minute to hold Chelsea to a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.
The Frenchman's eighth goal in all competitions earned the hosts a surprise point and extended the visitors' winless run to four league games.
Cole Palmer had given Enzo Maresca's side the lead in the first half, but it was Chelsea's talisman who surrendered the ball late on in the lead up to Mateta's leveller.
Jadon Sancho was instrumental in Palmer's opener, executing a cute dummy before driving towards the box and feeding his compatriot.
And the late equaliser came from another Englishman, as Eberechi Eze found Mateta at the back post to punish Palmer's indecision in possession.
The result means Chelsea are nine points off league leaders Liverpool, who have two games in hand, while Palace find themselves just one point behind Manchester United in 14th.
Haaland at the double as City demolish Hammers
Manchester City won their second game in a row for the first time since October, as Erling Haaland struck a double in their 4-1 victory over West Ham.
Vladimir Coufal's 10th-minute own goal put the home side in front, before Haaland's brace was swiftly followed by Phil Foden's second league goal of the season.
The Norwegian's first was a trademark back-post header from a delicious Savinho delivery, and his second a delightful chip over the onrushing Alphonse Areola.
Foden got himself on the scoresheet by prodding home Kevin de Bruyne's unselfish lay-off to ensure all three points by the 58th minute.
Niclas Fullkrug netted a consolation for Julen Lopetegui's charges, who have conceded nine goals in their last two matches.
Manchester City still find themselves outside the UEFA Champions League places in sixth, while West Ham remain in 13th, a point behind Tottenham.

Brooks stunner extends Cherries' unbeaten run to eight
David Brooks was the difference as Bournemouth extended their unbeaten run to a club-record eight games with a 1-0 win over Everton.
The two teams were locked in a stalemate on the South Coast until the Welsh winger guided a stunning side-foot volley past Jordan Pickford in the 77th minute.
Sean Dyche's Everton have now failed to score in eight of their last 10 league matches.
In contrast, seventh-place Bournemouth are looking up, with just three points separating them from Chelsea in fourth.
Five-star Brentford rout Saints
Brentford continued Southampton's torrid season by handing them a 5-0 defeat in which Bryan Mbeumo struck a second-half double.
Kevin Schade opened the scoring early on for the visitors, who had lost four of their last five matches in all competitions.
But Thomas Frank's side had to wait until after the hour mark to double their advantage, as Mbeumo played a clever one-two with Yoane Wissa and rifled into the roof of the net.
The Cameroon international grabbed his second from the spot seven minutes later, before Keane Lewis-Potter and Wissa added gloss to the scoreline in added time.
Bailey rescues win for Europe-chasing Villa
Leon Bailey crashed home a 76th-minute winner as Aston Villa beat Leicester City 2-1.
Ross Barkley broke the deadlock by firing a sweet strike from the edge of the box, but the hosts were pegged back less than six minutes later.
Jordan Ayew easily read Ollie Watkins' slack back pass and Stephy Mavididi was alive to the possibilities and swept home the equaliser on the rebound.
But Bailey was equally bright in the box to turn home Ian Maatsen's low cross and keep Villa within three points of fifth-place Newcastle, who were 2-1 winners at Tottenham in the early game - which was live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
