Amad Diallo has signed a new five-and-a-half year contract with Manchester United, keeping him at Old Trafford until 2030.
The 22-year-old winger has committed his long-term future to the club after impressing this season, particularly following the arrival of new manager Ruben Amorim.
Amad has scored six goals and provided seven assists from 28 appearances in all competitions this term, having only featured 12 times in all competitions last season.
"I am really proud to have signed this new contract," he said. "I have had some incredible moments with this club already but there is so much more to come. I have huge ambitions in the game and I want to achieve history at Manchester United.
"I have learnt so much since arriving here four years ago; I am very grateful to the coaches and staff who have helped me to develop, and to the fans for driving me forward every day.
"It has been a difficult season for everyone, but I fully believe that we are on the right path and the future is going to be really special. I am ready to give everything to help the team and make our supporters proud again."
United had an option to extend the Ivory Coast international's existing contract by 12 months but opted instead to offer him an improved deal.
Amad joined the club from Serie A side Atalanta in 2020 for £37 million, making a handful of appearances before being sent on loan to first Rangers and then Sunderland.
He impressed with the latter, winning the PFA Championship fans' player of the year award.
Since returning to United, Diallo has gradually forced his way into the first team. He has made significant contributions so far this season, including a late winner against Manchester City and an equalising goal at Liverpool.
Amorim has been impressed with Diallo's contribution, labelling him one of the team's leading lights.

"We are starving for leaders on the pitch, he is a leader," Amorim said.
The Portuguese coach continued: "I think it is not one thing of our team, it is all the teams. If you want to be a top, top team you have to be leaders and we have that in the dressing room, but they have to step up.
"We have a lot of young kids also and this moment is really hard. We can look at the table but you are still Manchester United."
