Anthony Martial has suffered another injury setback after being ruled out for 10 weeks following groin surgery. The Frenchman's time at Old Trafford has been littered with injuries since his big-money move from Monaco in 2015 – particularly in recent seasons. He has scored just once in the Premier League this season and his last appearance came in a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth in December.

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is facing another long spell on the sidelines after having groin surgery.
The Frenchman is set to be missing for around 10 weeks, United said in a statement on their website.
"We wish Anthony a speedy recovery and look forward to his return,” the club added.
Martial has struggled with a multitude of injuries since his £57.6 million move to Manchester from Monaco in 2015.
The forward’s latest setback is likely to rule him out until at least April before his contract at Old Trafford comes to an end in the summer.
It means he is expected to miss key matches against West Ham, Aston Villa and Manchester City as Erik ten Hag’s side fight for a place in European football next season.
According to the scale of the injury and the time he is expected to be sidelined, Martial could make his return in time for a trip to Chelsea at the beginning of April ahead of the final run-in.
His last appearance for the club came in United’s shock 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford in December, where he played 56 minutes before being replaced by Rasmus Hojlund.
Since then, he missed games against Liverpool, West Ham and Aston Villa initially through illness.
He was also omitted from the squad for matches against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham, with United only picking up a single win from five games.
The 28-year-old also missed United’s FA Cup third-round win against Wigan Athletic at the beginning of the year and will be ruled out for their trip to Newport County on Sunday.
Martial has struggled to get firing under Ten Hag since the Dutch manager took charge at Old Trafford at the beginning of the 2022/23 season.
He has featured for United 19 times across all competitions this season and scored only two goals, one in the Premier League and one in the Carabao Cup.
Last season, Martial netted six goals in 21 league games in another injury-hit campaign.
He suffered injuries to his hamstring, Achilles tendon, back and hip, missing 27 matches in total.
