Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool are still "really attractive" to transfer targets even if they do not qualify for Champions League football next season. Liverpool are currently one place outside of the top four with three Premier League games to go. Klopp also believes Mohamed Salah will continue to be a key player for Liverpool and that he has "a good few years in his legs".

'It's still Liverpool' - Klopp believes club can still attract transfer targets without UCL

Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool are an attractive club to join even if they do not get Champions League football this season.
Liverpool will finish the 2022-23 campaign trophyless after going out of all cup competitions this season.
The Merseyside club are currently fifth in the Premier League table and one point behind fourth-placed Manchester United with three league games left to play. Liverpool have also played one more game than United.
Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Adrian are all set to leave Liverpool at the end of this season when their contracts expire, sparking suggestions there could be a squad rebuild at the club over the summer.
Klopp says Liverpool are targeting players in the upcoming transfer window who are aware that the club might not be in the Champions League this season, but insists they are still a "really attractive" club to join even without it.
"When I talk to a player - if I'm allowed to talk to a player - we cannot say in the moment if we have Champions League football," Klopp told reporters ahead of Liverpool's Premier League clash with Leicester City on Monday evening.
"So, if we are already talking, then it is already clear that he already knows about that situation.
"But it's just a general thing. I think if you join a club, you reach something together with the club.
"It's obvious we have to be part of the Champions League, fight for trophies and these kind of things. If you want to be part of that, you're more than welcome. We cannot guarantee this year Champions League football.
"But all the rest is the same as before: a fantastic club with a really good football team - and a better one hopefully next year. It's really that simple. Still Liverpool. We're really attractive to a lot of players."
Mohamed Salah has scored 30 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season, but will finish the campaign without a trophy.
Klopp says his goalscoring achievements this term will not be overlooked by Liverpool supporters and that the 30-year-old has "a good few years" at the very highest level.
He added: "No. Not from us [on whether Salah will be overlooked]. Not from the Liverpool supporters. Maybe from you? I don't know.
"A lot of time, they will be an all-time great after they finish their career but he is still in his career. If you see Mo everyday, you will see there are still a good few years in his legs and in his body, and the numbers will still improve, and that's absolutely great.
"We don't overlook it but questions asked that often, you might be guilty to overlook it."
Klopp also confirmed that Firmino and Keita will not be fit to play Leicester on Monday.
