Nuno Espirito Santo: Former Wolves boss is latest leading candidate for the Tottenham Hotspur job - reports

With Tottenham's recruitment process to find a successor to Jose Mourinho - who departed in April - dragging on, the former Wolves manager is said to now be the favourite for the role. Spurs have already had talks break down with Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca, Gennaro Gattuso and Julen Lopetegui and reportedly tried to pursuade former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to return to north London.

Nuno Espirito Santo is the leading candidate to become the new head coach of Tottenham, according to reports.

Fabio Paratici, Tottenham's new director of football, is said to have a good relationship with Nuno's agent Jorge Mendes.

Nuno left Wolves at the end of the 2020/21 campaign after four seasons by mutual consent and has been linked to the managerial vacancies at Everton and Crystal Palace.
