Full-time: Tottenham run out 5-2 winners at St Mary's to claim their first victory of the league campaign. Heung-Min Son was outstanding in another phenomenal Premier League game.
Every time Spurs come forward Southampton look like they are going to concede, as Lo Celso sees his shot deflected just wide for a corner.
FOUR minutes will be added on. To the surprise of absolutely no one, BT Sport give the Man of the Match award to Son.
GOAL! Southampton 2-5 Tottenham (Ings, pen): Ings slot it down the middle and Southampton have a consolation.

Penalty to Southampton! The referee goes to the pitch-side monitor as the ball strikes Doherty's arm inside the penalty area. And the spot-kick is awarded. It's another soft call.
Spurs sub: What a performance from Kane, who is now replaced by Steven Bergwijn.

GOAL! Southampton 1-5 Tottenham (Kane): A poacher's finish, but boy does Kane deserve a goal today. Son is involved again, too, as his whipped ball finds Lamela. He leaves Walker-Peters in his wake, shooting against the post and Kane can't miss the rebound as he slots the ball into an empty net.

Doherty hasn't been half bad either. He makes a really important tackle on Tella to deny the young Southampton forward. Spurs are on the move again, though, with Lamela almost profiting from Southampton's high-line this time. McCarthy's starting position is good though and he clears on this occasion.
Dele who? Gareth who? A sensational performance from Tottenham in front of goal.
GOAL! Southampton 1-4 Tottenham (Son): It's number FOUR for Son! An incredible display of ruthlessness. What an outstanding performance. It's the deadly duo once more as Kane plays a glorious pass from the right to release Son and he finishes convincingly.
Son is through on goal once more but this time his finish is poor. And once more the offside flag is raised.
Almost an immediate impact from Tellaas he bends a shot just wide from 25 yards.
Southampton sub: Nathan Tella comes on for Armstrong.

Tottenham are playing with some confidence now. Saints have to push forward in search of an equaliser and that is leaving space in behind their defence.
Yellow card! The game is running away from Southampton and their players are growing frustrated, with Stephens going into the book for a rash challenge on Lo Celso.

GOAL! Southampton 1-3 Tottenham (Son): It's a hat-trick for Son, and a hat-trick of assists for Kane! The England international lifts a really clever ball over the top and Son is there to finish past McCarthy at his near post.

Wide! Spurs have all 11 men behind the ball at the moment, but Saints work a nice move, with Armstrong's back-heel releasing Adams and he drags his shot wide.
