Marcus Rashford continued his fine form as Manchester United moved to within two points of the top four with a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Leicester City.
The 21-year-old forward, making his 100th Premier League appearance for the Red Devils, notched his eighth goal in his last 13 outings when he coolly collected Paul Pogba's sublime pass and lashed home on nine minutes.
The result means United remain unbeaten under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, winning nine of his 10 matches in charge. The Red Devils are up to fifth in the table, just two points adrift of Chelsea in fourth spot.
Leicester were the better side in the second half and showed just why they have enjoyed success in recent displays against Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. The Foxes created a series of good chances but Harvey Barnes, Jamie Vardy and substitute Rachid Ghezzal couldn't find a way past David De Gea.

Claude Puel's men remain 11th in the table and will look to go again when they travel to Tottenham next weekend. United will aim to maintain their upward trajectory under Solsjkaer when they visit struggling Fulham.

TALKING POINT

Almost a perfect 10 for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Ten games in and United continue to look revitalised under caretaker boss, Solskjaer and very much in the hunt for a top four finish - but there's no doubt a defining run of fixtures ahead as it starts to get very interesting across three competitions.

After a trip to Fulham, the Red Devils host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last 16 before travelling to Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup. The small matter of a home league clash with Liverpool follows while March offers up the return leg at Paris Saint-Germain as well as Arsenal (a) and the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
It's been a fantastic start to life in the United dugout for Solskjaer - indeed you could literally mark him as nine and a bit out of 10 - but his long-term fate will most likely be decided by how he fares in the next 10 fixtures when the big games will come thick and fast.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Marcus Rashford (Manchester United). Marked a landmark appearance with a clinical strike. The young forward was a threat throughout and is clearly benefitting from playing in a more adventurous attack under Solskjaer. Indeed, the United No.10 has netted six in 10 appearances under the Norwegian and looks well on course for his most prolific season for the club if he continues at this rate.
