Southampton have signed goalkeeper Alex McCarthy on a three-year deal from Crystal Palace.
McCarthy - who made seven appearances in the Premier League last season - has been signed by new Saint manager Claude Puel to provide cover for England goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
Palace recently signed Frenchman Steve Mandanda, and have Welsh international Wayne Hennessey as their recognised first choice keeper.
"I'm over the moon to join a club like this," said McCarthy, 26, who becomes the club's third signing of the close season following the arrival of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Nathan Redmond.
"The club is known for producing young players and they've had successful seasons.
"There's the Europa League to look forward to this season, so there's going to be a lot of games.
"With the stature of the club, I'm honoured to be here and I'm looking forward to getting working with everyone."
