Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino start in Merseyside derby after Brazil travels
Liverpool stars Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino have proven their fitness after racing back from South America and will start in the Merseyside derby with Everton.
The duo helped Brazil qualify for the 2018 World Cup in midweek before being flown back to England in a private jet.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp also opts for Lucas in a midfield role, while Sadio Mane will be tasked with stretching their rivals’ backline.
Everton, chasing a first win at Anfield since 1999, opt for a youthful side, with Matty Pennington (22), Mason Holgate (20), Tom Davies (18) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (20) all handed starts.
