Barnsley set for £6.6m John Stones sell-on fee windfall
Barnsley are set to receive £6.6 million from Everton after John Stones agreed to join Manchester City for £47.5m.
The League One club sold Stones to Everton in 2013 for a fee of around £3m, and as a result of the transfer are entitled to a percentage of any fee Everton received when they sold Stones.
Stones agreed a big-money transfer fee this morning and sources suggest that Barnsley are due £6.6m to help them build for the future.
