Ashley Williams set to join Everton for £12m

Reports suggest that Ashley Williams will sign a two-year deal at Everton to replace John Stones.

Stones' £47.5m million move to Manchester City was confirmed this morning after UEFA released a Champions League squad list for City that inadvertently revealed the transfer.

Williams had been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium for much of the summer, and is set to sign a two-year contract with Everton after Swansea accepted a £12m bid.
