Bordeaux want Arsenal's Mathieu Debuchy on permanent deal – reports
Bordeuax want to sign full back Mathieu Debuchy on a permanent contract from Arsenal, according to reports.
Le Parisien claims that the French Ligue 1 side have opened talks to extend the stay of the 30-year-old after he joined last season.
Debuchy has fallen behind Hector Bellerin in the pecking order for the right-back position under Arsene Wenger in London and joined Bordeaux in an attempt to gain a place in France's Euro 2016 squad, which he ultimately failed to do because of injury.
The defender, who was signed from Newcastle for £10million two years ago, started Arsenal’s friendly with Lens on Friday and will tour the US.
