RESULT: NEW ZEALAND 0-3 FRANCE
Nothing New Zealand could have done to stop France who, despite not keeping their high-intensity, attacking play for the full 90 minutes, had the upper hand throughout.
With that, France go through to the quarter-finals on a perfect record of three wins while it's curtains for New Zealand as the United Statest of America beat Guinea 3-0 in the other Group A match.
'90+6 NEW ZEALAND 0-3 FRANCE
Chotard gets a great first touch on for a ripping effort on target, but Paulsen is in place to stop.

What an attempt from Bayliss who goes for it from 25 yards out and forces Nkambadio into action who tips it over the bar.
'90 NEW ZEALAND 0-3 FRANCE
Six minutes of stoppage time confirmed.
'89 NEW ZEALAND 0-3 FRANCE
Excellent effort from France as Olise cuts the ball to Diouf in the box, but what a save from Paulsen who reads it perfectly.

'78 NEW ZEALAND 0-3 FRANCE
Changes for New Zealand as well: Matthew Sheridan and Jay Herdman enter the pitch for Sam Sutton and Finn Surman.
'78 NEW ZEALAND 0-3 FRANCE
More changes for France as Loic Bade and Joris Chotard come on for Castello Lukeba and Desire Doue.
'74 GOAL!! NEW ZEALAND 0-3 FRANCE
And suddenly it's looking easy for France! After a link-up in the box, an attempted shot from Doue is blocked, but it comes back for Kalimuendo who stays well composed, has a good touch on his right foot and cuts it back past Paulsen at the near post.
'71 GOAL!! NEW ZEALAND 0-2 FRANCE
France double their advantage as Diouf breaks into the box and although he gets tackled, there's some good fortune in how the ball breaks. Doue picks it out, cuts it back and sends it past Paulsen for the 0-2.
'66 NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE
Nicely done by Bindon who breaks, but, with no support in the box, the French defence stops him. Singh picks up the rebound but can't do anything with it.

'56 NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE
Wonderful bit of play from France as Cherki and Kalimuendo link up in the box for an effort from the later, but Paulsen has it covered.
'55 NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE
Just as France' match has become a bit flat with no urgency in the way they are playing, they create an excellent chance as Diouf flicks the ball in to Doue who opts to take a touch rather than taking it as a first time shot and his effort goes nowhere.
'50 NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE
The first clear chance of the second half goes to New Zealand as Garbett intercepts a sloppy clearance and slices a low, driving effort through the defence, but he just misses at the near post.

We are back underway in Marseille.
HALF-TIME: NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE

HALF-TIME: NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE
France have had the upper hand throughout and have looked mighty impressive. However, their high-paced attacks have somewhat calmed down around 25 minutes into the game.
New Zealand, in contrast, have grown as the game went on but have so far not found a way to match the French.

'36 NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE
Bit of a scramble in the box and the ball falls to Cherki who drills it straight at the right corner. Paulsen has it covered though.

Finally some pressure from New Zealand and a first long-range effort from Waine is blocked.
The following corner falls to Singh, but Locko blocks his effort and France clear.

Lovely break from France, but Locko's effort is blocked by Surman. Doue attempts a looping effort from the subsequent corner, but Paulsen has it well covered.
'19 GOAL!! NEW ZEALAND 0-1 FRANCE
It was coming and there is the opening goal for France, albeit a slightly unfortunate one for New Zealand.
Cherki gets caught in the Kiwi defence and the ball ricochets off Bell right into the path of Mateta who finishes beautifully with a flicked effort into the net.
'15 NEW ZEALAND 0-0 FRANCE
A long ball forward finds Mateta in the box who, without support, attempts a shot, but Paulsen holds low at the left post.
