Oldham players to pick up pay packets on Wednesday

Oldham's players will be paid by the end of Wednesday after they did not receive their wages on time.

The Latics squad are still waiting for their November packets with the club struggling for cash.

They lost 1-0 at Crewe on Saturday after the delay in the wages to leave the club 21st in Sky Bet League One, a point from the safety line.

David Dunn's side have won just one of their last six league games and go to Sheffield United in the FA Cup on Saturday.

"There is nothing to say other than players will be paid tomorrow," Latics chairman Simon Corney told the BBC.
