As for Sergio Conceicao's Milan, they are mired in midtable mediocrity after a dismal season by their standards.
They were on a three-game losing streak from the back end of February to the beginning of March, as they fell to defeats at the hands of Torino, Bologna and Lazio, all by slender 2-1 scorelines.
However, a 3-2 win at Lecce, where they fought back from 2-0 down, has set the tone for a potential end-of-season revival, which gathered further momentum after a 2-1 victory over Como at the San Siro thanks to Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders goals, while Dele Alli was shown a stoppage-time red card on his return to football.
