McGinn nears Hibs move

McGinn rejected a new contract offer from Saints and has been in limbo for most of the summer as the Paisley club are due a development fee.

But the 20-year-old is now free to move to Easter Road after Hibs agreed a deal with their Ladbrokes Championship rivals.

McGinn has recovered from the thigh injury that ended his season prematurely after being speared by skipper Steven Thompson in a training-ground prank that backfired.
