Mark Sampson has been removed as a patron of Women in Sport after he was sacked as manager of England Women.
The 34-year-old left his role on Wednesday after evidence emerged of "inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour" during his time at Bristol Academy.
Women in Sport, a charity whose vision is to empower women and girls through sport, moved quickly to detach itself from Sampson.
"Following today's announcement by the Football Association, Women in Sport can confirm that Mark Sampson is no longer a patron of the charity," a statement read.
"The charity hopes that media attention will now return to the women's football team performance on the pitch, and that women and girls up and down the country will continue to be inspired by the Lionesses' World Cup campaign."
England Women kicked off their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 6-0 win over Russia on Tuesday.
