Football news - Kylian Mbappe shows off signed shirt from Pele
Kylian Mbappe has shown off a signed shirt from Pele months after he followed in the legend’s footsteps at the World Cup.
Mbappe, 19, became the first teenager since the Brazilian in 1958 to score twice in a World Cup match when he netted two goals in a 4-3 win over Argentina in the last-16.
He then emulated Pele again by scoring in the World Cup final against Croatia, attracting more comparisons with one of the all-time greats.
Pele sent congratulations over social media during the tournament but has now delivered a signed Santos shirt to the Paris Saint-Germain star.
Not a bid gift to get in the post, eh?
